More From Guatamala

Through multiple dental mission trips to Central America throughout the year, the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry American Student Dental Association (ASDA) chapter continues to advance one of its missions by improving access to dental care in the small town of La Reforma.

On our most recent week-long trip, we helped over 200 patients by providing dental education, dental hygiene, restorative dentistry, and dental extractions in which the NOMAD played a vital role in the determination of appropriate treatment planning. Through the care that we give, we are making a direct impact on people’s lives by alleviating their pain, enabling them to become more productive members in their community and better providers for their families.

Thank you from our team and the citizens of La Reforma.
