OREM, UTAH—18 August 2009— Aribex, Inc., the worldwide leader in handheld x-ray technologies, is celebrating their inclusion in the prestigious 2009 Inc. 500/5000, the magazine’s annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. Described as redefining their industry, the Orem, Utah company showed impressive three-year growth of 549.7 percent, earning the company the 476th spot, a significant accomplishment for a company that was only an idea six years ago.
“We’re proud to be included with such an elite group,” said D. Clark Turner, PhD, President and CEO of Aribex. “Our growth is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our Aribex team members and an additional validation of the wide acceptance of our ground-breaking NOMAD® handheld x-ray platform. Even more satisfying is the fact that our device has allowed practitioners to bring improved diagnostic health care to hundreds of thousands of people around the world.”
Aribex was founded in 2003 as an answer to the need for a truly portable, lightweight dental x-ray system. Unlike the bulky wall-mount systems dentists traditionally used, NOMAD is handheld and, being cordless, can go anywhere. Today NOMAD devices have been used in the finest professional offices as well as providing access to care in the most remote humanitarian clinics. Additionally, NOMAD products have received numerous accolades in the forensic and veterinary fields.
“Since debuting in 1991 with 100 of the fastest-growing private U.S. companies, then expanding the following year to the Inc. 500 and again in 2007 to the Inc. 5000, the list has served as evidence of the significant accomplishments of entrepreneurial companies,” said Jane Berentson, editor of Inc. “As an Inc. 500 honoree, Aribex shares a prestigious pedigree with such notable alumni as Intuit, GoDaddy, Under Armour, Jamba Juice, Timberland, Patagonia, Oracle and scores of other powerhouses.”
“We hope one day to achieve the level of success of those Inc. 500 companies that have gone on to become international corporate giants,” Turner adds. “Our entrepreneurial success today can be attributed to our continued focus on what we can become tomorrow.”
The Inc. list will be available in the September edition of the magazine.
